Today is the 18th anniversary of the attack on the Indian Parliament in 2001. On 9 February 2013, we were all awakened with the news that Afzal Guru, the mastermind of the country's biggest terrorist attack, was hanged. The mercy petition of Afzal Guru was rejected by the President on February 3, after which he was sentenced on charges of Parliament attack. Afzal Guru was the main conspirator of this attack. Afzal Guru's name is taken naturally after the terrorist attacks are discussed many times inside the country. Separatist organizations still protest against Afzal's hanging on every anniversary and demand that his remains be handed over to the family. At the same time, many organizations in Kashmir protest against the hanging of Afzal, demonstrating him as a 'martyr'. This is the biggest misfortune of our country.

Masood Azhar came to India in 1993 on a Portugal passport. Within a few months he was caught in southern Kashmir. At that time, he was the general secretary of Harkat-ul-Mujahideen. For the next seven years he was imprisoned. He was released in 1999 along with two terrorists, Omar Saeed and Mushtaq Zargar, in lieu of the Kandahar plane crash.
Afzal Guru, the mastermind of the Parliament attack, was a resident of Jammu and Kashmir. He was very smart in reading and was preparing for MBBS as well as IAS. However, later he came in contact with the separatists and took membership of the Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front and from there he started taking training in terrorism and jihad. Afzal was given dangerous training for jihad and fidayin attack here. He was introduced to other terrorists in Pakistan and incited to be part of the conspiracy being hatched against India. Then his time was over and he made the biggest mistake of life by attacking Parliament.
Conclusion:-
Despite all this, a person wakes up inside a well-known section of our country and they feel that something has gone wrong but they do not see that slaughter. In the end, this is the prayer, O God! Give wisdom to everyone.
